He loves the Spongebob SquarePants cartoon series and he loves ice cream. So it’s no wonder little Noah (4) from New York was in the mood to get SpongeBob ice cream. Unfortunately, he didn’t go to the nearby kiosk, but he searched for the ambrosia on the internet – and immediately found it on amazon. Click the order once and you’re done!
With his click, the four-year-old not only ordered SpongeBob ice cream, but he also ordered 51 boxes! A total of 918 lollipops. Cost: $ 2,620. Equivalent to just under 2,400 francs. When Noah’s mother saw the expensive ice cream bill, it was already too late. Delivery was already on its way. Amazon refused to take back the merchandise because it was a grocery order.
The rescue thanks to the fundraising campaign
Shock for Jennifer Bryant. The student could not easily pay the bill. In need of her, she wrote a post on her university’s Facebook page – with success.
When fellow student Katie Schloss learns of the story, she quickly sets up a fundraising campaign. Funds for Spongebob mega order were collected within 24 hours. And much more. More than $ 10,000 has now been donated.
Noah’s mother did not believe her luck and thanked all of the donors for their generosity. The rest of the money will go to educating and supporting Noah, who was diagnosed with autism. (Jumh)
