Washington (dpa -AFX) – In the United States, crude oil reserves fell more than expected last week. Analysts expected a decline of only 3.6 million barrels.
Petrol cargo fell 1.9 million to 218.1 million barrels. Stocks for filters (heating oil, Diesel) 1.7 million less than 131.9 million barrels.
U.S. oil production increased by 0.1 million barrels per day to 10.1 million barrels. Production has barely recovered from the effects of Hurricane Ida. The hurricane damaged production facilities, which affected production in the Gulf of Mexico.
