This ends the decades-old partnership between the collecting card company Panini of Modena, Italy, which began in 1980 according to UEFA. The company initially did not comment on this when asked on Wednesday. The newspaper “Bild” had previously reported this.
Dream collection for an entire generation
“It’s an absolute milestone for Topps as we celebrate our first partnership with Uefa Euro in our 70-year history,” said Patrick Rausch, Marketing Director of Topps.
The company has acquired Portuguese coaching legend Jose Mourinho as an advertising face. “The Special One”, as his fans often call him, currently coaches Italian first division club AS Roma.
