Two-class cabin: This is what Condor offers in the Airbus A330

The German holiday airline is now flying ex-Etihad Airways planes. In the cabins of four Airbus A330s, Condor mainly makes cosmetic changes.

Something special awaits Condor passengers on board Flight DE1514 from Dusseldorf to Palma de Mallorca on Saturday (February 19). You are not traveling on an Airbus A320, A321 or Boeing 757, which are otherwise used on the road. Instead they will do Be the first to board the Airbus A330 Condor طائرة.

The long-haul plane has 262 seats, including 22 in business class that can be converted into flat beds. The D-AIYC is the first of four aircraft of the type that the Condor will be in use by May. All have previously traveled to Etihad Airways.

New seat covers and headrests

Condor has been leasing four A330-200s for about two years, with the first new generation A330-900s arriving in the fall. Therefore, the A330-200 does not have a real Condor livery, but rather wears white with the airline’s logo and lettering.

There are no major changes in the cabin compared to the times of Etihad Airways, the German holiday airline sets only its own visual touches. For example, the seat covers have been renewed and the headrests are now in Condor colors and logo. And of course the airline supplies the planes with its own emergency equipment.

New category brings more

The new A330-900 will have Premium Economy Class on board as well as Economy Class and Business Class. The airline has yet to reveal what exactly the number of seats and layout look like. However, there are already some clues.
