Pattaya: Popular travel site TripAdvisor recently revealed the winners of its 2024 Travelers' Choice Awards. The rankings, based on comments and opinions from the TripAdvisor community, showcase the most preferred travel destinations around the world. Pattaya, located on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, received an impressive seventh place in this ranking.
Travellers' Choice winners are made up of the destinations that received the most reviews and opinions on their hotels, restaurants and things to do from TripAdvisor users over the past 12 months. Out of a total of 25 travel destinations around the world, Pattaya finds itself in a respectable 7th place.
The TripAdvisor community specifically highlights Pattaya's attractions, from the opportunity to enjoy the many beaches along the Gulf of Thailand to the relaxing atmosphere at Jomtien Beach with its variety of water sports and beach massages. Other positively rated attractions include the majestic Big Buddha Temple, with its colossal Buddha statue and staircase lined with giant dragons, and the wooden Temple of the Sanctuary of Truth at Naklua, which is highly praised as a reflection of Buddhist and Hindu art and architecture.
