In an Instagram story, the musician now explains what happened: “I went for an endoscopy on Monday and felt fine, but after dinner I felt unbearable pain and was taken to the hospital.”
A ‘very small tumor’ was removed during endoscopy. “Unfortunately, an important draining tube for the pancreas was damaged during this process,” Parker said. This has resulted in “severe, life-threatening pancreatitis”. However, after the “intensive treatment” Parker would be “much better”. It was ‘very grateful’.
