Central German Championships: Team Torgau’s U14 team finished 10th

Leipzig. Torgau U14 hockey juniors finished 10th in the Central German championship race. In the last tournament, the U14 team lost 2:3 and then won 6:0. “We are satisfied with the indoor season, although the top four teams could have reached the final round,” coaches Kai Zimmermann and Carsten Lehmann summed up. “The boys have taken it one step further – both tactically and technically.”

Brilliantly and compactly
In the last round of league matches, played in Leipzig, Torgau only played against Chemnitz. After Elbestadt took the lead, an eye-level game developed. Both teams had good scoring opportunities, but failed to take advantage of them. “A draw would have been a fair result,” said Torgau’s coaches.
