English Premier League: Newcastle finish third after winning the first match
Newcastle finished third in the English Premier League from Manchester United thanks to a 2-0 victory in a direct duel, and thus is closer to qualifying for the Champions League next season. The Englishmen Joe Willock and Callum Wilson scored a goal after the break to win the team deserved with Fabian Sher. The Swiss international played through central defence. Winless in three league games, Newcastle and Manchester United each hold a four-point lead over fifth-placed Tottenham.
LaLiga: Seferovic scores again – Benzema with a lightning hat-trick
Haris Seferović scored his second goal since returning to La Liga. The striker, who has not recently been called up to Switzerland, scored in the 10th minute to level the score at 1-1 in Celta Vigo’s 2-2 home draw against Almería. Seferovic, who is on loan at Galicia from Benfica, has scored two goals in 8 matches since the beginning of February. Real Madrid beat Valladolid 6-0 at home. The most prominent player in the “Royal” was Karim Benzema, who scored a hat-trick within 7 minutes (29, 32, 36). Despite the victory, Real Madrid is still 12 points behind its big rivals from Barcelona.

Bundesliga: Gladbach, number zero
For Borussia Mönchengladbach, the European Cup places are becoming more and more distant. 0-0 in the derby against 1. FC Koln was the fifth winless match in a row.
