Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Season 6 of Season 1, Apocalypse begins tomorrow

Ubisoft announced a new limited-time event for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 6 Season 6, Apocalypse. This starts tomorrow and will be playable for two weeks through May 18th. Apocalypse is set in the post-apocalyptic version of the Outback map, where two clans battle for hope and freedom to revive life.

In the world of Apocalypse, humankind’s dependence on atomic energy eventually led to the demise of civilization and the emergence of two clans, The Keepers and The Warband. These warriors and scavengers are looking for the last source of energy on Earth that has the potential to make life on Earth grow again.

In the new Canister game mode, players fight inside as The Keepers (The Defenders) or The Warband (Attackers) to obtain the last remaining energy source on Earth. Defenders can move the enclosure containing the source around the map, while attackers can activate the scanners to locate the defenders. The main goal of the attacking side is to defuse the canister that holds the source. On the defenders side, the operators must protect the can until time runs out in order to win. Additionally, the round can also be won by eliminating all opponents. Who will hold the key to the new future of humanity?

The Apocalypse event comes with its own set of 35 items for Fuze, Gridlock, Maverick, Nomad, Twitch, Maestro, Melusi, Rook, Smoke, and Valkyrie. Players can access headwear, weapon skins, and custom uniforms. Exclusive time-limited customization items per operator can be purchased as in-store packages for 1680 R6 points or via Apocalypse Packs for 300 R6 or 12,500 Prestige.
