“Farmer, bachelor seeking …” – Olga chats out of the box
This was “Spanish” farm week with farmer Hans
“Bäumchen changes you” in “Bauer, single, sucht…”: Karl’s lady-in-waiting Olga catches her eye on Pia’s farmer Hans and he immediately packs up his belongings and visits the “spirited Wiibli” in Spain.
“Farmer, bachelor, looking for…” Olga, the lady-in-waiting, turned both of my heads.

Olga (40) did not find love in the farmer Karl (50) and there was no spark between the graceful farmer Hans (67) and Lady Baia (62). However, it seems that Olga’s luck, who lives in Spain, and the pensioner from Appenzell will be with them. At an event during the filming of “Bauer, single sucht…” Hans met his rival’s lady and exploded.
Olga tells Blake: “Hans is a funny guy, fresh and bright. You just want to be around someone like that. You can’t say anything about it. I just noticed him. We talked and were sympathetic.” The farmer sees it that way, too. When asked what he liked most about Karl’s lady-in-waiting, Karl quickly got an answer – with his own expressions: “Well, that’s it! Olga is Wiibli chic! It’s not easy to find a woman like that again.”
Jealousy with ex-lady-in-waiting Pia?
However, when the two meet, Hans and Olga have been still at court for weeks with Karl and Pia choosing “the farmer, the bachelor, who is looking for…”. Was there no jealousy? “Karl didn’t mind. It didn’t work out for us, but we were good friends, ”says Olga. However, with Pia’s lady-in-waiting, things would have looked a little different. “She said it didn’t bother her, but I could feel it did.”
It soon became apparent that a German living in Spain and an Appenzell farmer wanted to get to know each other better. “It was cooler in Switzerland, and then I suggested Hans to come to my place in the sun.” The two then spent their week at the ‘Spanish’ court together in their adopted home in Marbella, Olga continued.
“he can’t dance”
She was excited when the Swiss arrived. “But when Hans arrives, then like a Spaniard! He was an airport phenomenon with a cowboy hat. The style of clothing already fits perfectly here.”
Of course, as Olga assures, her new farmer slept in her guest room. “Very decent!” Olga says she learned a lot about Hans in the days they spent together in Marbella. “He loves the sun better than the cold, and he cannot dance.”
The son’s mother reveals that there was indeed a little spark – but she doesn’t want to reveal more. Nor can Hans conclude whether he and Olga became a couple or not. But he fantasized about living in Marbella.
Farmer Hansueli (44) is already a father of three and grew up on the farm he runs. Appenzell Ausserrhoder goes to work with his expectant wife as soon as he meets him for the first time.
