This lady brought Gauche to despair

On Monday it’s time again: on Guenter Gauch’s chair in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Many candidates have been able to prove their general knowledge. One thing was particularly noticeable: Iris Hochberger is very tense when she sits down with Gauch. At first I took a sip of water and decided to start the test with four jokers.

With the €125,000 question, Iris Hochberger uses three jokers: neither the audience joker nor the extra joker really helps her. The question: Who has Germany scored the most points in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1957 – Switzerland, Spain, Turkey or Denmark?

Hochberger also gambled away from the Joker 50:50 without being sure of her answer. Because the risk is too great for her, she abandons the game and takes with her an allowance of 64,000 euros. Good for her: Denmark was the favorite, but Spain was right.

She wants to use the prize money to buy her daughter a new mobile phone and a stove for herself – for her old house, which she recently bought. She wanted to be able to watch the fire burn through a plank.
