Former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva appears to be the only politician in Brazil on March 8 who has the credit and the conditions necessary to defeat the far-right former president Jair Bolsanaro in the 2022 election.
This was confirmed by Emir Sadr, one of the leading sociologists and political scientists at the South American Institute, in a response to the news portal 247 in Brazil.
‘A strong name at the national level, rooted in the minds of the vast majority of the popular sector, and the experience and work done in his government like Lula can face serious and decisive conflict such as defeating Bolsanaro,’ ’Tragedy in your writing.
“Many have already surrendered to this rationality, realizing the extent of the conflict and how important it is to know who the opponent’s best name (Lula) is,” he notes.
According to the experienced political analyst, next year’s presidential bans will be “decisive for the future of the country” and “priority should be the political campaign for Lula to finally get his full political rights.”
He condemns the Govt-19 epidemic, which produces nearly two thousand deaths a day, without any improvement in government action, or in mobilizing the reaction of the people. The vaccine is being actively dragged out and has no effect on saving people’s lives.
The sociologist points out that the economy has gone from recession to depression, despite the turmoil of Minister of State Paulo Quitos. “The social crisis is spreading like never before, with the majority of Brazilians fleeing dangerously.”
The image of Brazil in the world, after being a role model with Lula, has become one of shame and global danger. ‘We are in the worst position in all possible worlds. Without government, without economy, without social policies, without international alliances, ‘says Sadar.
He cites the rapid loss of right-wing support, the illusion of a central coalition and the inability of politicians to play a dominant role in 2022 without trusting the founder of the Labor Party.
‘Either the current government continues or the country collapses, the state is overthrown and with more barbaric commodification, privatizations and new liberalization projects are being carried out. The left has been defeated for a long time and is depressed, ‘he predicted.
On more than one occasion, Lula commented that he would not fight to be a hypocrite for power, however, the Left could contest the next election if it so desired.
‘I was president of the Republic and I don’t need to be like that again. To be a candidate, there must be a big reason. If it is necessary to defeat polzonarism, I will no doubt make myself available, ‘he stressed.
