The Swiss miss out on the slalom podium in Palisades-Tahoe (USA)

Alexander Steen Olsen wins the slalom in Palisades, Tahoe (USA). Curious: AJ Ginnis is actually leading the fastest time. However, the Greek was later disqualified due to Threader.

This scene was watched by the jury for minutes after the race ended. The long wait reminds us of the decisions of the video assistant referee in football. Finally, the result is officially communicated.

With Guinness out, Timon Hogan, Clement Noel and Albert Popov completed the podium. The latter accounted for 22 (!) Places in the decision and took third place at the same time as Noel.

The Swiss cannot convert a good starting position into a podium finish after the first round. So there is another disappointment after the poor performance in the World Cup.

Ramon Zenhäusler shows a good ride in the second round, especially at the top. But at the bottom, the 2.02-meter giant made several mistakes. Eventually he fell back to sixth.

Loïc Meillard doesn’t go at all. The Swiss West is literally washed out again in the second round. He lost nearly 1.7 seconds and ended up 21st.

Daniel Yule fares worse. In the first half, Alfalizi is still in second place. In the second round, he was passed and finally finished 24th.

The other Swiss were not even involved in the decision. Luca Irni and Tanguy Neve clearly miss out on the top 30. Marc Rochat, Sandro Simonet, Fadri Janotin and Noel von Groningen were eliminated in the first round.
