The Queen is looking for a new gardener – the salary is not royal at all

Queen Elizabeth II is looking for a new gardener for the garden around Windsor Castle. This comes from a job posting on the royal family’s website.

It is a matter of tending to gardens that “will be admired by thousands,” as stated in Job titleAs a minimum qualification, knowledge as a gardener and driver’s license are required. Also required is a “passion for gardening”. The application deadline is January 5, 2022.

Promised payment is nothing but royalty: 19,500 pounds (about 22,800) promised as gross annual salary upon entry.

After all, the chances of meeting the British monarch in real life could not be greater anywhere else. The Queen has been mainly in Windsor since the pandemic began.
