LG Electronics (LG) expands its premium UltraGear series with its first gaming laptop. Muscle Man, who has already received the CES 2022 Innovation Award, wants to give gamers an excellent gaming experience – anywhere, anytime.
The compact notebook for on-the-go gaming has an 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics, dual-channel memory, and a dual solid-state drive setup. 17-Customs Service–IPS-Panel outperforms one reaction time of milliseconds and 300 Hzrefresh rate employment. This should enable smooth gameplay even with the most graphically demanding games. LG’s vapor chamber cooling system should keep your notebook computer cool even under full load.
Like LG’s closely related laptops, the UltraGear 17G90Q notebook is ultra-portable and slim: housed in a stylish and sturdy aluminum casing that’s 21.4mm thick and weighs less than 2.7kg, the large screen houses a 93Wh battery.
With the LG UltraGear Studio gaming software, users can make game-related settings and monitor performance data such as CPU clock, TDP, GPU clock as well as real-time RAM usage. Each individual key on the RBG keyboard can be illuminated in the color of your choice for a single play setup.
The built-in two-way speaker system aims to enable realistic 3D sound. With support for DTS: X-Ultra, the speakers accurately reproduce the source and direction of noise in the game environment, helping players find teammates and track down their opponents. Built-in Intel Killer Wireless technology is designed to ensure a fast and stable network connection for a lag-free and frustration-free gaming experience.
“LG’s UltraGear gaming laptop provides gamers with everything they need to seamlessly enjoy the latest high-spec games,” says Seo Young-jae, Senior Vice President and Head of IT Business Unit, LG Electronics Business Solutions. With its premium hardware, generous high-quality screen and slim and light design, the 17G90Q stands out from the competition for maximum comfort and mobility.”
LG’s portable gaming notebook will be launched in the USA and South Korea in the first quarter of 2022. Find out more about the UltraGear lineup on January 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM (CET): lg.com/de/CES2022
