The Curlers defeated European champions Great Britain

The Swiss curlers around Skip Silvana Trinsoni start the Olympics with a valuable victory. In the extra end they beat Great Britain 6: 5.

In the battle between the world champions of Switzerland and similarly strong European champions of Scotland, all that was important took place in the second half after a balanced start around the skip eve Muerhead.
