The Swedish striker for the Lucerne team
FC Luzern has signed Swedish striker Benjamin Kimpeuka from AEK Solna (Sweden). The 22-year-old signed Monday on loan with an option to buy until 30 June 2023. Kimpioka went through the academy of AFC Sunderland, for which he also made his League One debut on 2 October 2018. In total, the striker has played 19 matches in “The Championship”, the second highest league in England, scoring 4 goals. After short loan spells at Torquay and Southend United, the former Sweden Under-21 international returned home and joined AEK Solna.
Willem Geebbels reinforces St. Gallen’s attack
FC St. Gallen has secured the services of 21-year-old Willem Goebbels until the summer of 2025. By the winter break, the French striker had played for Monaco and made 39 Ligue 1 appearances. He became the youngest player ever used in the Europa League. His Monegasques career was also interrupted by a long-term leg injury, which is why he was sometimes loaned out to Nantes.
