  • Davos wins the supplementary match for the second round of the league in Geneva 3-2.
  • Top scorer Matthias Bromme scored the decisive goal in the 33rd minute.
  • This is the third consecutive defeat for Geneva.

HC Davos wasn’t necessarily the best team when they played in French-speaking Switzerland, but they were definitely the most efficient team. Just 17 shots were enough for Grayson to take their sixth win of the season. For their part, Servet scored 29 goals, guarded by Sandro Eichlemann, but with the exception of Daniel Winnick’s double, he did not count anything.

Brummy’s reply to Winnick

The Canadian was able to make up for both Julian Schmutz’s first Davos lead and 1:2 for the guests by Valentin Nussbaumer. It was Winnik’s first single that was particularly worth watching. Together with Valtteri Filppula, HCD’s defense played admirably.

After the goal that made the score 2-2, the joy of Geneva only lasted for a short time. After 57 seconds, Davos top scorer Matthias Bromme scored the winning goal in the 33rd minute.

Geneva doesn’t move

With only 3 wins out of the first 11 rounds, Servette graces the bottom of the table with SCL Tigers. On the field, the 3-1 win over SC Bern on 14 September was the highlight. However, HCD is allowed to point upwards as the fifth in the table.
