Sonia Krause (48 years old) is currently battling breast cancer. The presenter made this public on her Instagram account. Although she is physically weak, the former “Talk, Talk, Talk” presenter does not want to lose her sense of humor.
On her social media account, Kraus talks candidly about the side effects of aggressive treatment. As she says in a new clip, her followers are mainly interested in how her long blonde hair does. “My hair is down 20 percent and looks so sad,” she says in the video, adding that she “doesn’t care at all.”
“It’s growing again!”
She then took off her wig and explained, “He’s getting naked here too. But whatever? Don’t let this discourage you – it’s growing back!”
Her fans are excited about the TV star’s endurance and comment on her contribution with positive words: “You are really cool and how nice it is that you treat her so positively and openly! You are an idol!” Another follower wrote: “What a woman power!” Another comment says: “I love your positive style.”
Sonia Krause wants to cheer
But Krause wants to encourage other cancer patients in particular not to be too swayed by the diagnosis. She says the wig is “an opportunity, it’s a good thing and I would encourage you if you want to make a change.” She says she loves wigs. “It’s so cool, why didn’t I think of it sooner?”
She reaches her fans with her message. One follower wrote that she hopes to remain as positive as Sonia Krause during her chemotherapy period. (Bang/Bav)
Detecting breast cancer early
Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide. In Switzerland, an average of 6,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and more than 1,400 women die from it. Early detection is very important. The earlier a tumor is detected, the better the chances of recovery. The International Breast Cancer Awareness Month aims to increase public awareness of prevention, research, and treatment.
