The American company recently talked about building one Large passenger plane – Having previously worked on developing a hypersonic business jet. But Irion is now in financial trouble. This was reported through the Air Current portal. The developer of the supersonic aircraft, Aerion, has not secured additional funds to further develop the AS2 business jet.

“In the current financial environment, it has proven extremely challenging to meet the significant new capital requirements planned and necessary to complete the AS2 transition into production. In light of these circumstances, Aerion is taking appropriate steps,” said an Air Current spokesperson.
