Rumors have been simmering for about a month: soccer star Mats, 32, and TV presenter Kathy Hummels, 33, are said to be on the verge of divorce and have already separated at the start of the year. Mats even found a new partner on his side in table tennis player Lisa Straub (21). However, there has been no confirmation of the two, and instead, the Hummels are now on a fun shopping spree.
So the two don’t avoid each other at all. When their young son Ludwig, 3, visited kindergarten for the first time last week, the sparkling couple set out to take their loved ones. Mats traveled from Dortmund to Munich specifically for this purpose, according to the German newspaper “Bild”. Kathy Hummels recorded the special day in a (family) photo and posted it online. “On your first day in kindergarten, you’ll pick up your mom and dad, of course. This is the way it should be,” she wrote.
Reward Ludwig’s son with a family outing
On the weekend, the next adventure followed for the little one. Because Ludwig voluntarily gave away all of his pacifiers, the Hummels family went on a shopping spree to a toy store. He was allowed to choose new toys and chose a dinosaur and a toy car. There was also a visit to the stadium and an ice cream purchase from a gelateria. According to reports, Mats Hummels wore Kathy’s purchases at the end of the shopping trip like a man.
So is everything okay again with the Hummels? According to the “image” no. The separation should already be behind the two, and a divorce is still imminent. However: for son Ludwig, the two seem to have put all controversies aside. The fallen couple definitely looks different.
