At 9:00 a.m. today (July 20), the case of Michael Wendler, 49, was due to be heard in Dinslaken County Court. He was about to help thwart unit foreclosures with bankruptcy in two cases. But: Wendler never showed up again.
Then the judge took the action, Bild reported. And an arrest warrant was issued in Germany for the singer, who today draws attention to himself mainly with conspiracy theories. Wendler’s attorney wanted to file an objection, but it was to no avail. Now there is a possibility that the singer will be deported from his native USA to Germany. If Michael Wendler has a criminal record, it will also destroy his chance of getting a Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit in the USA). The date of the next court hearing has not yet been set.
Wendler wanted to be an actor
According to the newspaper, Wendler filed a request Monday night that he wants his lawyers to represent him in court. The judge and the public prosecutor insisted on his attendance.
In February 2020, a criminal warrant was issued against Wendler for six months of probation in the matter. The singer objected. Negotiations had to be postponed three times, among other things, because Wendler did not come to Germany. Even the United States Department of Justice summoned the hit star: in vain. (to talk)
