Wolfratshausen guest on Saturday
A real chase duel awaits spectators in the Provincial League on Saturday when SC Oberweikertshofen welcomes BCF Wolfratshausen.
Oberweikertshofen – Suddenly, the first place of SC Oberweikertshofen came within reach again. This is made possible by a team the village club will now meet on Saturday, 4pm in Waldstadion: BCF Wolfratshausen beat the Denklingen leader in the final round – and thus entered the promotion race themselves. Viewers can expect an authentic chase duel.

The Weikertshofeners were warned: the guests won 1-0 at Denklingen – even though they didn’t score the goal themselves. Tobias Reid of the leader hit his net. As for the table, that means the SCO is now tied on points with Denklingen, but they’ve played another game. Wolfratshausen lurks directly behind the village club with one point less and one game more than SCO.
In view of this constellation, Weikertshofen director Ole Bergmann issued a clear slogan: “Losing is forbidden!” He remembers the first leg, when the SCO team showed one of their best performances of the season after trailing 1-0 and winning 3. 1 at the end. Bergmann: “That could be repeated on Saturday.” (Andreas Dashner)
