SRF cuts more jobs
Management has made it clear to its workforce that another 145 jobs will be eliminated in all departments by the end of 2023.
SRF will cut another 145 jobs by the end of 2023. It is now known that 75 of them will be cut across all divisions. There are three critical criteria for the scope of each department: organization size, structure, and alignment with the “SRF 2024” strategy.
The terminations will already be announced this month, the SRF announced on Wednesday. There are no dismissals in December. How many layoffs there are in total, the company has not yet announced upon request.
Originally, 145 jobs were due to be cut by the end of this year. But in the summer, the administration decided to postpone the decommissioning until the end of 2023. Amazingly, the SRF said at the time, the number of layoffs will likely be reduced due to natural fluctuations and early retirement.
The remaining 70 jobs out of 145 will be reduced through adjustments in the already reported range and through reductions in production standards, as stated in the announcement. So far, 88 full-time jobs have already been cut, including 27 layoffs.
