Group A:
Slovakia 2-0 Denmark: Thanks to their 2-0 win over Denmark, Slovakia caught up with leaders Russia again. You had to wait a long time to score goals in the game. Only in the 48th minute Peter Sehalarik broke the spell and took the lead. After 5 minutes, Slovakia doubled down on Adam Janusik.
Czech Republic-Great Britain 6-1: Thanks to the easy victory over Great Britain, the Czech Republic remained in the quarter-finals in Group A and moved to fourth place. The Czechs were already 4-0 ahead in the semi-match and left nothing after that. Than is desirable. A total of 7 different players can be entered into the scorers’ list.
Group B.
Germany 1-2 Finland: After 3 victories at the start of the World Cup, Germany suffered a second consecutive defeat. Defeated the 2018 Olympics runner-up 1: 2 against Finland. Arttu Ruotsalainen scored the match-winning goal for the defending champion in the 52nd minute. Finland is in Group Two with 13 points from 5 matches as the first participant in the quarter-finals.
Norway – United States 1: 2: The United States resolved in its fifth group match to its fourth victory. Against Norway, the Americans rose to their role as the favorites and won 2-1. And because the Scandinavians scored the next goal in the 56th minute, the United States had to tremble by about 3 points until the end. With only 5 points from 6 games, Norway has no chance to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Italy-Kazakhstan 3:11: Powerful climber Kazakhstan caused the next exclamation point at the World Cup. The team from the former Soviet republic celebrated their fourth victory in the sixth match with 11: 3 against Italy and defeated Germany with 10 points in Group B and temporarily finished third.
