Norway 0-2 Czech Republic – Czech Republic secured quarter-final spot with 4th win in 5th game. 2 goals in the first three were enough to win against twelve-time world champions Norway. Former Czech Republic player Dominik Kubalik doubled the lead in the 13th minute. Jakub Fleck got the final score after receiving a wonderful pass from Middle Campney. Norway met the favorites at eye level from the start and recorded the most shots on target (27:21). The Czech win also sent Switzerland and defending champions Canada into the quarter-finals.

USA 3-0 Denmark – 5 games, 5 wins, 15 points: USA maintains its winning streak in Tampere.
