Hydrogen blond, washed belly muscles and puppy eyes – it’s hard to be a cliché more. Ryan Gosling, 41, isn’t just getting praise and a little crush for his role as a real-life Ken doll in the new ‘Barbie’ movie.
Studio Warner Bros. has released the first photo of the actor from the set. As Barbie’s all-time friend, Gosling has bleached and tanned his hair topless under a denim jacket. While some fans cared about him—”I didn’t know I needed this yet,” he tweeted, for example—others denigrated Gosling as Kane.

One commented on Twitter: “Why didn’t they hire Chris Evans. Sorry, but Ryan looks like Freddy Prinze Jr. as Fred in Scooby-Doo.”
On the other hand, many find that Gosling does not look like Kane, but Ariana Grande (28) brother Frankie Grande (39). Ryan Gosling looks like he’s on the reality show Love Island.
Still others see Gosling as too old for the role: “Ryan Gosling is 40 and trying to play the unhappy Ken – a doll in his early twenties. How could anyone allow that? Who thought that was a good idea?”
Margot Robbie as Barbie
Barbie will appear in the live action movie by Margot Robbie (31) game. Her first photo from the group aroused public enthusiasm. The movie hits theaters July 21, 2023. Plot: A doll is kicked out of “Barbieland” because she’s not perfect enough – when she ends up in the real world and goes on her adventures there. Robbie said of her role in The Hollywood Reporter: “People instantly have a picture when they say I play Barbie. But whatever you think, we’ll show you something completely different.
