Recall of the Range Rover Sport: the rear wing comes loose

The Federal Automobile Transport Authority (KBA) and car manufacturer Land Rover have launched a recall campaign for the Range Rover Sport from production years 2009 to 2011.

The rear wing can break off and end up in the traffic area. So far, the Kyle-Benjaman agency has learned of eight cases. About two years ago, Land Rover recalled 21,834 vehicles in the United States for the same reason (NHTSA Number: 20V-623).

This model is affected by the invocation:

• Land Rover Range Rover Sport Production period 2009 to 2011 (worldwide: 78,378 vehicles / Germany: 2898 vehicles)

Corrective action: Land Rover distributors will strengthen the adhesive bond of the rear wing. The KBA conducts the recall under reference number 011593, and the recall manufacturer code is N700.
