This conversation is rare. Prince Albert II of Monaco and his younger sister, Princess Stéphanie, introduced the French magazine “Point de View” Joint interview.

The occasion was the centenary of the birth of her father, Prince Rainier III. (1923 to 2005), who was recently honored by the siblings with the “Centenary Ball” in Monaco.

Albert danced with Stephanie. Also on site were Stephanie’s daughter Camille Gottlieb and son Louis Ducruet with his wife Marie Ducruet.

Princess Stephanie: “My brother was amazing.”

In the conversation, Princess Stephanie recalls her childhood with her brother, who is seven years older than her. The 58-year-old said: “I admit that Albert was very patient with me, especially since I was hyperactive.”

And further: “My brother was wonderful, he endured it so often that I always wanted to play with him.”

The princess says that Albert’s patience was usually inexhaustible. “I thank him for that. Since I didn’t have a brother or sister my age, I always went to him and his friends.”

She often played Monopoly or building games with Albert. Sometimes she would steal one of her older brother’s action figures to marry her Barbie doll.

How does Prince Albert II, Prince of Monaco, describe his relationship with his sisters Caroline and Stephanie?

Both brothers remain important advisors to him today, says the 65-year-old in an interview with Point de Vue.

“I meet Caroline and Stephanie regularly and they tell me their opinions. “I don’t think they’ll let me down,” says Albert. Meanwhile, Stephanie adds: “Sometimes we tell him what we think even before he asks us.”

Princess Stephanie also fondly remembers her father, Prince Rainier III. behind. “I was with him a lot. As soon as I could, I joined him.”

And more: “When I finished school at ten-thirty, I ran away to spend some time with him.” Although her father was usually very busy, Stephanie enjoyed the moments she was able to spend alone with him even more.

Stephanie, who has had several failed relationships with men, does not list any of her ex-boyfriends as important men in her life. “There are three men in my life: my father, my son, and my brother.”
