The ship, with a total weight of 90,090 tons, is the name of the famous Radiance class of the Royal Caribbean, offering seven alternate seven-day Alaskan cruises between Seward, Alaska and Vancouver, Canada during the summer.
The e-mail to Travel Partners stated: “Radiance of the Seas’ initial plan is to deliver ships from Sydney, Australia from October 2022 to April 2023. However, Radiance of the Seas will now depart from New Orleans, Louisiana and Calveston, Texas!
Since the Radiance of the Seas does not travel over Australia, Alaska will offer cruise ships first to New Orleans and then to Calveston after the end of the season.
The ship will depart Vancouver for Hawaii for 11 days on September 23, 2022 and make the scheduled voyage to Hawaii. Instead of a 17-day trip from Hawaii to Sydney, an eleven-night trip to Vancouver will take place from October 4.
Following this voyage, the Radiance of the Seas will sail along the Panama Canal to the Pacific coast before heading to New Orleans. The ship’s first departure from Big Easy will be on November 3, 2022.
Departing from Louisiana, the ship offers four to nine overnight voyages to the Caribbean. Interested guests have a variety of exciting travel plans to popular ports such as Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, Roatan, Grand Cayman.
Radiance of the Seas will then relocate to Calveston and depart from its homeport in Texas on February 9, 2023. Again, the ship will offer nine- and ten-night cruises to various ports, including Jamaica, the Bahamas, Colombia, Panama and Cosmel.
In April 2023, Radiance of the Seas will be relocated. The ship, which will begin its 15-day voyage through the Panama Canal from April 21, 2023, will sail to Georgetown in the Grand Cayman, Cartagena in Colombia, Cologne in Panama, San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico before heading to Los Angeles. Angels Arrive A short five-night Pacific Ocean cruise in preparation for the 2023 Alaskan season will bring Radiance of the Seas back to Vancouver.
