Ironically, Queen Elizabeth II (96) is missing from the Troops of Color parade! Troops march from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards Parade on 2 June in honor of the King. As reported by The Telegraph, the Queen will not be present at her birthday parade for the first time.
The Queen has attended her since her coronation in 1953. In their place, Prince Charles (73) should attend the military parade. A palace insider told The Sun: “It is time for Charles to prove he is truly capable of carrying on the Queen’s legacy.”

In addition to her birthday, her 70th birthday will be celebrated in just under two weeks. According to “The Telegraph”, it is still possible for the Queen to participate in at least part of the planned festivities. So there is also hope to see the king traditionally on the balcony of the palace.
Queen Elizabeth II has repeatedly canceled appointments in recent months. Recently, her eldest son had to take over her speech at the opening of Parliament in London. The reason for cancellation is the limited movement. A palace insider told Bild: “I know she’s been spoken to several times about using a wheelchair. It’s out of the question for her.
