It appears that Russian President Vladimir Putin, 69, wants to declare a former confidant the next president of Ukraine. According to information from Ukrainian intelligence, former President Viktor Yanukovych (71 years old) is currently in Minsk “to prepare for his new role as a future president.” This is what the Ukrainian newspaper “Pravda” wrote.
Based on this, the Kremlin is preparing for a “special operation”. The goal is to remove current President Volodymyr Zelensky (44) and then restore Yanukovych as head of state. The Ukrainian people are also scheduled to prepare with “media campaigns” for Yanukovych as the new president.

Resigned from the post of president in 2014
Yanukovych is considered close to Putin. He was President of Ukraine until 2014. In November 2013, his government rejected an association agreement with the European Union due to its pro-Russian stance. As a result, there are mass protests involving hundreds of thousands of participants in Ukraine, the so-called “European Maidan”. As a result, more than 100 people die.
After weeks of mass protests, Yanukovych finally fled to Russia and was ousted. Fighting erupts between pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian groups. Russia includes the Crimea – it is the beginning of the open conflict between Russia and Ukraine. (zis)
