For Princess Charlene, the day before Christmas Eve, her biggest Christmas wish came true. After five long weeks, she was able to see her family again, as “Bunte” reported. Because for health reasons, she underwent treatment in a clinic in Zurich for a long time.
During the Christmas season, a VIP bus headed to the Swiss Alps for them. In the car: Princess Charlene’s twins Jack (7) and Gabriella (7), and her husband, Prince Albert (63).
No visitors allowed
After returning from South Africa in November, Princess Charlene checked into a private clinic in the Swiss Alps because she felt weak mentally and physically. At the moment, the 43-year-old was not allowed to have visitors – the focus was entirely on being able to relax in peace.
Meanwhile, her performance should have been noticeably better: he should have gained weight and no longer felt tired. For this reason, the doctors lifted the ban on visits – and made Princess Charlene thrilled with it.
It is said that the twins brought pictures of the mother that they painted themselves. They ate, played, sang and prayed together. But the happy meeting did not last particularly long: after four hours, the visiting hours ended and the Princess of Monaco had to say goodbye to her family.
Another meeting is said to have taken place at the beginning of the year: On January 2, Prince Albert and his children traveled again to see Princess Charlene.
The family works together
Her family is now part of her treatment. They should take a closer look at the role of Princess Charlene. People have repeatedly wondered what changes to make in their environment. It also included that Prince Albert had to ask himself how he could help Charlene and what he should do differently in the future. The princess emphasized several times that there was a lot of pressure on her shoulders.
But there’s also something good about a difficult situation. Because it means to the world for the princess that her family now realizes how bad she feels and that she needs support. Once Princess Charlene is out of the clinic, the family hopes for a fresh start.
