Prince Harry returns to his old homeland for the “Invictus Games” anniversary. The royal son landed in Great Britain on Tuesday, May 7, a day before the celebrations.

“The Invictus Games Foundation will celebrate 10 years of changing lives and saving lives with a service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8. Our Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, actor Damian Lewis and members of the global Invictus community will join us to celebrate the occasion,” said the official account of the organization founded by Prince Harry, 39, at the end of April. The Duke of Sussex has now landed in Great Britain after the big event a day earlier.

Prince Harry is leaving for London without his family

The 39-year-old has arrived in London, according to a series of reports in the British media. As reported earlier, he is traveling solo. Wife Duchess Meghan, 42, stayed in her adopted hometown of California with their children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

It was the first time Prince Harry had traveled from Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport on a ten-hour flight from Los Angeles in February to visit 75-year-old King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer.

No meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles

A 30-minute meeting between father and son reportedly took place in February. This time she won't be seeing her cancer-stricken father during her trip, with a spokesperson confirming: “Unfortunately, this is not possible due to Her Majesty's busy schedule.”

The 75-year-old returned to the public last week after taking a break from cancer treatment and attended three meetings. His agenda will also be well filled in the next few days. For example, there will be a traditional garden party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 8 May.
