An unknown assailant was hit by a 45-year-old bus driver from Hagen Tram AG in the back in the head on Thursday evening (8/11/2022) at the main station, slightly injuring him. At around 9:10 p.m., the 45-year-old wanted to replace a colleague at Berliner Platz and got on the bus. The stranger hit him in the ear from behind. A witness told the police that she could see that the perpetrator was clutching brass knuckles and hitting the bus driver with them. Then the man fled in the direction of Am Hauptbahnhof. He was between 17 and 20 years old, wore a white shirt and had his hair done. The search that started immediately was unsuccessful. The 45-year-old, with minor injuries, was taken by the rescue service to Hagen Hospital. Police are now investigating grievous bodily harm and are asking witnesses who can provide relevant information to call 02331-986 2066.(x)
