Photos of the top AMG engine in the CLE Coupé

New images of the upcoming AMG version of the CLE Coupé, the new CLE 63 SE Performance, have now emerged, showing all the details about the upcoming front and rear design of the C 236 Series Performance Coupé.

In addition to the CLE 53 4MATIC+, the Affalterbach-based company is introducing the M139 four-cylinder engine with E-Performance to the top engine in the CLE 63 SE Performance model of the new CLE Coupé. In contrast to the CLE 53 4MATIC+'s 449 hp from the M 256 six-cylinder engine, the top engine is expected to have 680 hp. Anyone hoping for a V8 will be disappointed, at least when the top model is launched.

Compared to the CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, the top engine features, among other things, additional air inlets at the front as well as a revised rear design and a regular trapezoidal exhaust system. The body of the CLE 63 SE Performance model adopts changes from the smaller version from Affalterbacher. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see the tailgate at the back (see tag below).
