Photon energy activates photovoltaic systems in Australia

Photon Energy has commissioned photovoltaic systems in Leighton, New South Wales, with a total output of 14.6 MW. With these systems, the Dutch power generator expands its Australian operations to 14.7 MW and its total portfolio to 89.3 MW. Michael Gardner, CTO of the Photon Energy Group, says these systems should help reduce the seasonality of power generation revenues.

Photon Energy has been developing the projects locally and through its subsidiary Photon Energy Engineering Australia BT Limited since its inception. Provided planning, procurement and construction for the above mentioned power stations. Photon Energy Operations Australia Pvt. Ltd. will take over the long-term monitoring, operation and maintenance of the power plant, ”the company said on Tuesday.
