Oliver Bucher (43) wins in court against rival Boris Becker (53), Bild reports. The comedian and tennis legend have been fighting in public for years. Becker took action against Pocher in 2019 with an injunction. Now the Hamburg Higher Regional Court has made a decision – against Boris Becker.
The injunction confirmed that the comedian was no longer allowed to charge the tennis star with “delaying bankruptcy” and “criminal matters.” After a London court declared Baker bankrupt in 2017, Boucher said according to the lawsuit in a television interview: “He simply hurt a lot of people. Even with what he didn’t pay for. And I think there are definitely criminal things. Because it’s just a delay in bankruptcy and also things that have passed.” It is practically an insolvency official.”
Baker pulled the command
Bucher did not leave the decision on his own and appealed – successfully. The court found that Bucher may use the terminology in relation to Boris Becker, because I take his own opinion.
Before the verdict was announced, Baker withdrew the order. “After today’s discussion at the hearing, the depositor’s agent withdrew the request to issue the injunction. “This is an irrelevant matter, and the process is closed,” a court spokesperson explains.
The next lawsuit against Pocher . is already being planned
To the delight of Oliver Bucher. “A victory for free speech,” says his lawyer, Simon Bergman. While Pocher celebrates his success, Becker is already planning the next attack. His attorney explains: “My client is calm about it. At the time, we wanted to silence Oliver Bucher with the matter. We accomplished the goal. Now we will sue him on the next step.” (BSN)
