Norway Spirit has returned to Australia
For nearly three years, no Norwegian Cruise Line ship has operated around Australia in the South Pacific, but with the return of Norwegian Spirit on Wednesday, that has changed. Norwegian Spirit will operate until March 2023. The ship is scheduled for a 12-day voyage between Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
After passing the famous Opera House and Harbor Bridge, the Norwegian Spirit stopped at the cruise terminal to transfer guests. There ended the transpacific cruise from America. It led to Australia via Hawaii and French Polynesia.
Guests on Norwegian Spirit’s current cruise will spend Christmas in Tasmania and Melbourne. Then two days at sea to New Zealand. First, Fiordland National Park and some places on the South Island of New Zealand are called upon before the cruise ends on the North Island. The first Australia and New Zealand tour of the season concludes in the New Zealand capital, Auckland. After the season, Norwegian Spirit will sail the Pacific again for a summer 2023 Alaskan cruise.
