(Motorsport-Total.com) – Nico Rosberg is no longer part of the TV show “The Lion’s Den”, As reported by the newspaper “Bild”. The 2016 Formula 1 World Champion has been part of the entrepreneurship show since Season 8, but will not be around from 2023. As Bild claims it has learned, “it can be [Rosberg] Selling well as a private brand, but few entrepreneurial skills.”

In the five seasons of which Rosberg was a part, he made 11 deals, five of which failed in post-show talks. In total, around 700,000 euros were invested in the exhibition, mostly in startups with a strong technology focus.
After the German ended his career in Formula 1 after winning the title in 2016, he focused more on entrepreneurship and also championed sustainable ideas. In 2020, he entered the Extreme E racing series with his own team. Pure electric SUVs are heading to remote places in the world to draw attention to the climate crisis.
But even before he appeared on Vox, Rosberg was an entrepreneur and investor. In 2018, for example, he entered the FIA Formula E Championship. He also invested in an e-scooter marketing startup or worked as the organizer of the Greentech Festival in Berlin.

In 2022, Rosberg was also in the headlines because Formula 1 placed a ban on him. Rosberg has not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19, but this is a prerequisite for access to the Tier 1 campus. As a Sky expert, he should have been roughly connected to his missions.
Rosberg justified his decision by saying he developed so many antibodies after contracting the COVID virus that his doctor initially advised him not to get vaccinated.
