Microsoft released another exciting update in the beta channel over the weekend – especially for users who also own an Android smartphone.

Microsoft explains the new integration as follows: “We're gradually rolling out a new feature to Windows Insiders in the Beta channel that lets you use your mobile device directly from the Start menu on your Windows 11 PC. With this feature, you can stay connected Connect and easily access your mobile device's features directly from the Start menu.

In addition to the changes made to the Windows 11 Start menu with Phone Link, update KB5039307 also provides a more advanced Copilot experience within Windows. The AI ​​Assistant is pinned to your taskbar and behaves like an app.

All other changes are bug fixes and general improvements – as always, the Windows team will provide more details On the Windows Blog. The update is now available via the Windows automatic update function. Users in the beta channel may also be offered some app updates.
