This is a good year for Ed Sheeran – even on the trendy TikTok. In music-obsessed English, Sheeran has turned it into a very popular musician on the young stage.
In Dictok, the most-viewed music star in Great Britain by 2021 is Ed Sheeran (30). Sheeran announced three singles from his new album “=” this year via social media. He also got more new followers than others on TikTok. He currently has close to ten million followers.
He is followed by singer Sam Ryder in second place, followed by rapper KSI (28) and musician Youngblatt (24). Ed Sheeran announced a break in 2019, following his successful comeback in 2021. His solo songs “Shiver” and “Bad Habits” topped the single charts in Germany. Here, according to recording company Warner, Ed Sheeran holds the title of the most streamlined international artist of all time.
Sheeran recently teamed up with a senior pop musician: Elton John (74), who is now spreading the Christmas spirit. “Merry Christmas” was released on December 3rd. Proceeds from the song will go to charity. Profit goes to the Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation and the Elton John Aids Foundation.
