Actress Morgan Ferro recalls filming “You Will Die Tomorrow” and the feelings that came with it. She plays Taliban hostage Daniela Widmer in Michael Steiner’s drama.
Daniela Widmer and David Osh were in Taliban custody for 259 days. Now Swiss director Michael Steiner has filmed her story.
Under the same title, Diary of Widmer “Tomorrow you will die” Steiner shows the horror of a couple who just wanted to go on vacation. The main roles in the film are played by Sven Schelker and Morgan Ferro.
The actress visits “Weekend on the Rocks” and tells presenter Frank Richter about her collaboration with Widmer and the most successful Swiss director. The movie was planned at an early stage, and could only be done in the past two years — even the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t made it easy for them, Ferro says.
