MOTORSPORT – AMTK 36 Rally: 4th place for Denner

106 teams from seven countries traveled to Vilenge, Slovenia, for the inaugural Mitropa Cup race. Including Lukas Dunner and Jürgen Rausch, who entered the race with number six as the first red-white-red team. The duo started well with 12th, but then had bad luck because the second special stage was canceled as a result of a car fire by the competition. Instead of 10th place, they fell back to 18th place due to time credits from the other drivers. His leg wasn’t broken, as Lucas Denner proved in the third part of the rally on the wet track that he handled his crash in the Biancavallo well under similar conditions and improved to seventh.

More improvements should follow. Thanks to the team’s clever tire decisions and fault-free engines, Denner/Rausch climbed to fourth overall in the Skoda Fabia Rally 2. “I am completely satisfied for the whole weekend. Delighted with his performance,” said Lukas Denner, pleased with his performance, “Before the race there was already excitement. The collapse in Italy, of course, was still on my mind.”
