Lunch break in Austin is over. The weather has improved significantly. The sun is bright and dry. All-new conditions for drivers who have previously only driven in wet or semi-dry conditions.

Moto2 FT1: Raul Fernandez takes the lead at the end

The session ended with the best time for rookie Raul Fernandez, who made his way to the top in 2:13.589 minutes on the last flying lap. Bendsneyder is second, 0.197sec. Ramirez is in third place, ahead of Schrotter and Augusto Fernandez.

Dixon leads the second half of the top ten. Behind them are Beaupierre, Arbolino, Siharin and Kani. World Championship leader Gardner just missed the top ten in eleventh place. It lags 0.932 seconds. Navarro moved up 22nd with a late defect.

Moto2 FT1: The Final Stage

The speed increases with each lap on the spots. Ramirez sets the best time at 2:14.865 minutes. Syharin is only 25 parts slower. Schrotter declared himself third in the first field. Raul Fernandez and Kanye completed the top five.

There is still five minutes to go.

Moto2 FT1: Big Gaps

Currently, Ramirez and Siahren are best able to use stains in the drying process. They lead the rankings by a second and a half over the rest of the field. Shantra finished third, and Roberts worked his way up to fourth.

Moto2 FT1: Fall Already

Navarro started the session with a fall as the other riders slowly fired themselves onto the track. There is a lot of movement in the rating and conditions are getting better and better. Arbolino is currently ahead of Bezzecchi and local champion Beaubier with 2:27,218.

Moto2 FT1: No stains yet

The first dry patches form on the road, but drivers still rely on rain tires to start with. However, we should see patches soon. Nagashima returns to the Iltatrans team and replaces the injured Dala Porta.

The team has officially announced ahead of the race this weekend that it will continue with Dalla Porta and Roberts in 2022.

Moto2 FT1: Manzi is not allowed to participate

Ahead of the first Moto2 practice session, race management announced that Manzi will not be allowed to go out on the track on Friday. The reason: He entered the World Supersports Championships in Jerez last weekend without informing the FIFA hosts. He also exceeded the 7-day limit for exams.

MotoGP FT1: Yamaha lost in the wet

My training finished 12th behind Marini and in front of Petrucci. The lone fighter Aprilia Alex Espargaro took 14th place. Yamaha is far behind: Quartararo is only 15th. His brand colleagues Morbidelli, Rossi and Dovizioso are ranked 17th, 20th and 21st.

MotoGP FT1: Marquez in front of two Ducatis

Marc Marquez stayed on top with a time of 2:15,872. Miller managed to get better at the end, but was still 0.167 seconds short of his best time. Zarco is a strong third. The Frenchman recently underwent an operation on his arm.

Fourth, Oliveira is sending the KTM brand to life. With Paul Espargaro and Alex Marquez, two Honda drivers follow fifth and sixth. Reigns, Banaya, Bender and Lekouna round out the top ten. We are seeing a late fall in Nakagami.
