Moritz Erenker ranks seventh in the Junior World Championship

cane. 13-year-old Moritz Erenker of HSV Ried finished seventh in the World Junior Motocross Championship (85cc) in Romania.

The GasGas pilot could have been in a better position, but in the first round Ernecker slipped to 25th after a fall and was only able to fight his way up to 14th.

In the second race, he put to an impressive test of his talent: he even led the race for a while, eventually finishing impressively fourth. This was enough for seventh place overall. He was also the best Austrian. The world champion was Dutchman Danny Heitink on a Husqvarna.

HSV drivers are in good condition

Ahead of the big home race on August 12th and 13th in Mehrenbach, the HSV drivers were in good shape.

At the Upper Austrian Motocross Cup and the Upper Austrian Motocross Championships, held in Brackenbach (Bavaria), 14-year-old Noah Jonas was the best HSV Ried Novice in the 85ccm class. After finishing first in qualifying, he also took both race wins: “This is my first overall victory, I’m very happy, it was a very good day.”

In the “senior” class, 26-year-old GasGas pilot Christoph Zentel won today’s Open MX class with two race wins. Daniel Mayer finished fourth in the daily standings.
