Formula E: Evans wins – Mortara tops the rankings

Mitch Evans (New Zealand) won the Formula E race on Saturday in Rome. The Jaguar driver made his way from ninth on the grid to the front and won easily. Completed the podium in the fourth round of the season by Dutchman Robin Frijns (Invision) and Belgium’s Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes). Eduardo Mortara (Rocket) was seventh in Switzerland, Sebastien Buemi (Nissan) was 16th and clearly missed the points. Mortara remains at the top of the overall standings with 49 points.

Supersport: Second Aegerter at the start of the season

Dominique Aegerter finished on the podium in the first race of the World Supersport Championship. The Bernese man was beaten by Italian Lorenzo Baldasari with just two dozen in Alcaniz (Spain) on Saturday. Marcel Brenner was 17th.
