Monopoly Madness

Monopoly Madness brings a new Monopoly experience to the Nintendo Switch – ntower

Ubisoft published on December 9, 2021 with Monopoly Madness, on time for Christmas business, a renewed application for The classic board game Monopoly.

In the new adventure, Mr. Monopoly travels on his well-deserved vacation while you rebuild your property and collect your rent. As in the latest Switch version, you compete against up to 5 other players. However, there is no longer a classic game board, but an open city environment. According to Ubisoft, this creates a fast-paced, real-time race on the chaotic streets of Monopoly City. The changing gameplay should make everything more dynamic and full of action. In between, you also collect power-ups and encounter unexpected events.

Video game reinterpretation of the popular board game appears for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia as well as for Windows PC.

MONOPOLY Madness competes to buy and improve real estate in MONOPOLY while Mr. Monopoly is on his well-deserved vacation. Up to 5 other players will be competed indoors in shorter rounds, creating a fast-paced, real-time race through the chaotic streets of MONOPOLY, with no game board limits. Money and other resources are collected throughout the map in order to purchase and improve properties. The more real estate a person has, the more points he brings, which means that players are getting closer and closer to the finish line in the race for fortune. Along the way, power-ups like bulldozers, jackhammers, and more can be collected through community chests and used against opponents to gain an advantage. However, players have to pay attention to random events that can happen at any time and make each game session unpredictable. 20 new playable characters, inspired by the tokens of the classic MONOPOLY game, can be played in four unique environments with their own atmosphere and architecture. Including the famous city divided into Night Life, Beach Town and Cozy Falls. Each environment has several levels and layouts, making a total of 20 different arenas available.
