MMA – Szpilka's amazing performance ends after less than 15 seconds

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki, or KSW for short, is one of the most famous MMA organizations in Europe. Founded in Poland and held its most important event (KSW) for the 94th time on the night from Saturday to Sunday in Gdańsk/Sopot.

In addition to the fight for the light welterweight belt (which Adrian Bartosinski was able to defend), all eyes were on the duel between two heavyweights Arkadiusz Wrzosek and Artur Špilka.

The fighting – or rather the preliminary skirmishes – kept what it promised: even before the first exchange of blows, Špilka's entry into the arena aroused enthusiasm. The Pole, who is considered a star in his country, appeared in what looked like a cooling tank that was designed in the style of the famous anime series “Dragon Ball Z.”

Once out of the cryogenic tank, the fight was not a success for Szpilka. His opponent Wrzosek grabbed him by the head and threw him to the ground and then had an easy time – sitting on all fours on the ground, Szpilka had little to counter the blows and was declared the loser (TKO) just under 15 seconds later.

Szpilka's entrance was more dramatic than his subsequent appearances in the octagon. It is possible that in the future he will focus more on his performance in the Octagon than on his surroundings. (rock)
