Once Meghan Markle, 41, is dominating the headlines, her half-sister Samantha, 58, is also serving up the mustard. The reason this time? Banter in the animated series “South Park”.
The Sussexes have been bitterly targeted by the creators of one of the new episodes. It caused a lot of fuss – which Samantha Markle can’t possibly fathom.
“It’s a cartoon,” she now tells GB News. Harry (38) and Meghan can’t just claim a “copyright” for everything. “Suddenly they have the copyright to all the comics,” she exasperates.
In any case, the two are going to have their issues liking a portrayal that looks like them in any way.
After the episode starring the renegade royal family aired, Meghan and Harry were said to be furious. There was even talk of legal action. However, a spokeswoman for the couple recently clarified: “It’s all nonsense. These are completely baseless reports.”
“South Park” episode about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is titled “Privacy World Tour”. The film revolves around the “Prince of Canada” and his wife who have settled down in a small town in the mountains. They carried signs that read “We want our privacy” and “Stop looking at us”.
